Dr Stephen Cass is Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr Cass is board certified in Otology and Neurotology, specializing in disorders of the ear, hearing, and balance. Dr Cass is a full-time physician and surgeon, educator, and NIH sponsored scientist, and has authored over 100 scientific articles, 40 book chapters and 3 textbooks.
Maura Cosetti, MD is a board certified Otolaryngologist with additional qualification and board certification in Neurotology. She is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Neurosurgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY and the fellowship director of the Neurotology Fellowship Program. She is the Director of the Ear Institute at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary (NYEE) of Mount Sinai, which includes the Cochlear Implant Program. She is an avid researcher, and has authored over 100 articles and text book chapters and presented at various national and international specialty meetings. She is currently the President-elect of the American Endoscopic Ear Surgery Study Group.
Floor Couvreur graduated as a medical doctor in 2017 at the KU Leuven in Belgium. Trained as a general otorhinolaryngologist in the AZ Sint-Jan’s Hospital of Bruges, as well as the University Hospital of Leuven, she graduated in 2022 with a special interest in Otology and Neurotology. A first fellowship in Otology and Neurotology at the Luzerner Kantonsspital held by the Fisch International Microsurgery Foundation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. T. Linder and Prof. Dr. A. Huber was completed in June 2022. Furthermore, she completed a Fellowship in Otology and Neurotology at the Dalhousie University in Canada, where she focused on the use of OCT in conductive hearing losses. Since July 2023, she has been a staff member within the ENT-department at the AZ Sint-Jan’s Hospital of Bruges.

Prof. Javier Gavilán is Professor and Chairman at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of La Paz University Hospital in Madrid, Spain, since 1997. A. Huber is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology University Hospital Zurich. His expertise is in otology and skull base surgery. After medical school, he worked in various hospitals in Switzerland (University Zurich), USA (Stanford University Medical Centre, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary) and UK (Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital Trust, Kings College, London). Dr. Mubarak Muhamed Khan is the Consultant & Director of Sushrut ENT Hospital, Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, with 22 years of experience. Since 2009 Assen Koitschev is director of the division of pediatric otorhinolaryngology and otology at the ORL-HNS-department of the Klinikum Stuttgart Medical Center. He is head of the hearing implant and cochlear implant program of the institution. Until 2009 Dr. Koitschev was staff member and vice chair of the ORL-NHS department of the University of Tuebingen Medical center. Starting 1989 and until 1993 he was fellow and staff member at the university of Rostock ORL-HNS-department. Dr. Koitschev received his medical degree from the University of Rostock, Germany. Dr. Kevin Peng completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at Caltech and the University of California, San Diego. He completed residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by a fellowship at the House Ear Clinic, where he continues to practice. Stefan Stenfelt is professor in Technical Audiology and head of Applied Auditory Research and the division of Sensory Organs and Communication at Linköping University in Sweden. He is a trained biomedical engineer (M.Sc. EE) with a PhD on bone conduction hearing physiology. Stenfelt has published extensively and has 100+ journal articles, several book chapters, and numerous conference contributions. He is also well cited with nearly 6000 citations and an h-index of 41. Beside his interest in bone conduction, Stenfelt’s research interests include hearing diagnosis, hearing physiology, hearing aids, and cognitive hearing science.
He has been dealing with otolaryngology and skull base surgery for more than 2 decades. His medical study began at the Semmelweis University in Budapest in Hungary, then continued at the University Clinic in Mainz in Germany and in Salzburg, in Austria at the Paracelsus Medical University. In 2014, he completed his habilitation in Salzburg, and in the following years he headed the otology division of the Hamburg Otorhinolaryngology Clinic. He studied the temporal bone and lateral skull base surgery from professor Fisch in Zurich between 2002 and 2015 and came a short time in Piacenza by professor Sanna to study other aspects of the lateral skull base surgery. Currently he leads the lateral skull base surgery center at the University of Pécs in Hungary. He has won numerous professional awards, his publications and research results appear in international medical journals, and he writes specialist books. He is often an invited speaker at professional conferences.
